Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Cardiff, Wales Contract: Freelance Duration: 6–9 Months Day Rate: Competitive, DOE We’re seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship regeneration development in the heart of Cardiff. This is a freelance role, ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong track record delivering complex, high-value projects within urban regeneration, residential, or mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities: Lead cost management and commercial oversight for the full project lifecycle Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration (JCT/NEC) Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts Liaise closely with the client, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain progress and budget targets Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and risk management ✅ Requirements: Proven experience on regeneration, residential or mixed-use schemes (£20m) Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and cost control RICS qualified (or working toward), preferred but not essential Based in or within commuting distance of Cardiff
