Project Manager

Involve Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager on a temporary basis to oversee multiple food retail construction projects — including new builds, store extensions, and refurbishments. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering high-volume retail rollouts across the UK. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee site delivery of new build and refurbishment schemes within live retail environments * Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality completion * Coordinate all project activities from pre-start to handover * Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and client specifications * Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders * Report on progress, programme, and budget regularly to senior management Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Proven experience delivering food retail projects (e.g. supermarkets, convenience stores) * Strong understanding of fast-track construction environments * Excellent organisational and leadership skills * Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously * SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required Projects Include: * Major supermarket refurbishments * Extension of existing retail units * New build food retail stores for national chains
