Site Manager

Involve Recruitment are actively looking for a reliable and experienced Site Manager to join a national contractor on a temporary basis, delivering new build, extension, and refurbishment projects in the food retail sector. The role involves overseeing live construction sites, often in operational retail environments, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Daily management of site operations, labour, and subcontractors * Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification * Maintain high standards of health & safety, site housekeeping, and quality assurance * Liaise with the client, supply chain, and internal project teams * Manage site documentation, permits, and daily reports * Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and materials Requirements: * Demonstrable experience managing retail construction projects, ideally in food retail * Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance on-site * SMSTS, CSCS (Gold/Black), and First Aid – essential * Experience working in live store environments (preferred) * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally as needed Project Types: * Supermarket new builds * Store extensions and phased refurbishments * Fast-track fit-outs in operational environments
