As Business Developer Wind you will contribute to the development of onshore wind energy projects across agricultural and industrial zones in Flanders, playing a key role in shaping a sustainable world. Your Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential locations for new wind energy projects, with a focus on technical feasibility and long-term potential. Build and maintain trusted relationships with landowners, municipalities, and other key stakeholders. Work with planning data, environmental studies, and local regulations to pinpoint realistic development opportunities. Handle negotiations for land agreements and contracts, in collaboration with the legal team. Support the permitting process by helping prepare and submit the required applications and documentation. Set up and manage partnerships that help move projects forward faster and more effectively. Turn the company's strategic goals into concrete development plans, working closely with colleagues from Public Affairs and Technical Support. Proven experience in business development within the energy sector, specifically in onshore wind, or in property development within the real estate industry. A natural networker with strong stakeholder management skills: you effortlessly build and maintain relationships at various levels, establishing trust and long-term partnerships with landowners, municipalities, mayors, and other key stakeholders. Solid understanding of relevant regulations, including building permits, environmental approvals, and spatial planning, enabling you to navigate complex cases and drive projects to successful completion. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Dutch and English; a good command of French is considered an asset. Willingness to travel frequently across the Flanders region.
