Job Description
Job Title : Tech Support Engineer Experience : 24 Years Location : New Delhi Job Type : Full-Time, Rotational Shifts Key Responsibilities (KRAs) : - Provide first and second-level technical support for system-related issues. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems across Linux and Windows platforms. - Monitor and maintain system performance and ensure uptime requirements are met. - Document issues, resolutions, and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level teams as needed. - Ensure timely response and resolution of user-reported problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement support procedures and best practices. - Stay updated on emerging technologies, patches, and security updates. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 24 years of hands-on experience in system administration or tech support roles. - Proficient in Linux operating systems (CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu). - Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11). - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting. - Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills (Added Advantage) : - Scripting knowledge (Bash/Python) for automation of support tasks. - Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL processes. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
