Grafana Developer

Overview : The Grafana Developer plays a critical role in our organization by designing, implementing, and maintaining Grafana dashboards that visualize complex data sets. They are responsible for integrating various data sources including databases, APIs, and other tools to provide real-time insights and analytics through effective visualizations. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain Grafana dashboards for various data sources. - Integrate Apache Airflow with Grafana to monitor data flows and processes. - Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data availability and accuracy. - Create SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for visualization. - Optimize dashboard performance and scalability based on user feedback. - Set up alerts and notifications for data anomalies and trends. - Implement user access controls and permissions for various dashboards. - Stay updated on latest Grafana features and best practices. - Work with stakeholders to understand their visual reporting needs. - Document processes for dashboard creation and maintenance. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues in dashboards. - Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. - Lead training sessions on how to use Grafana dashboards effectively. - Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project statuses and updates. - Provide technical support to users employing Grafana dashboards. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in developing Grafana dashboards (minimum 3 years). - Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow for orchestrating workflows. - Proficient in SQL and databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL. - Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines. - Ability to write efficient Python scripts for data manipulation. - Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices. - Previous experience with monitoring and analytics tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Prior experience in agile software development methodologies. - Experience in providing technical training and support. - Certification in Grafana or related technologies is a plus.
