Job Title : Tech Lead Java Development Experience : 8 12 Years Job Location : Chennai Notice Period : Immediate Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead - Java Development with 812 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, and Data Structures, with a strong understanding of architectural best practices. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, mentoring team members, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities : 1. Technical Leadership & Development : - Lead the development of complex, large-scale projects from design to deployment while ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Drive technical decisions and design patterns to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications. - Work closely with Product Owners and Solution Architects to translate business requirements into high-level technical designs. - Develop and maintain the application framework and work on proof of concepts (POCs) for new technologies and solutions. - Conduct code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize code for efficiency and maintainability. 2. System Architecture & Design : - Collaborate with Solution Architects to design highly available and resilient applications that meet business needs. - Define best practices for architecture, security, and performance across microservices-based applications. - Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems and legacy applications. 3. Agile Development & Release Management : - Work in an Agile development environment, ensuring timely delivery of features through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. - Plan releases and deployments across Non-Production (Dev, QA, Staging, UAT) and Production environments while ensuring minimal downtime. - Troubleshoot production issues, provide post-production support, and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. 4. Team Mentorship & Collaboration : - Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring knowledge sharing and upskilling in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, and Data Structures. - Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging best practices in software development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and Business Analysts, to ensure smooth project execution. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 8 - 12 years of experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. - Strong understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) and data modeling principles. - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and distributed systems. - Solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms and their practical implementation. - Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment. - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
