Jira Administrator - Atlassian

Job Description : 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Jira Administrator working with project management, software development, service management and IT processes. 2. Comprehensive knowledge on the underlying system architecture of Jira and its various components such as scripting languages, plugins, and APIs. 3. Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk). 4. Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies; experience with Service Desk Integration process; good understanding on how to tailor workflows for specific needs. 5. Expertise in understanding server administration basics such as access control levels, versions lifecycles, user permissions. 6. Strong knowledge on troubleshooting techniques when dealing with complex integrations issues. 7. Strong knowledge to set up integrations with other services. 8. Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies. 9. Should have knowledge on DevOps. 10. Should possess excellent communication skills with stakeholders and customers. Key Responsibilities : - Create, delete, and manage projects - Configure project settings and permissions - Add users to the Jira instance and assign them to groups - Manage user roles and permissions within a project - Monitor system performance and optimize as needed - Perform data backups on a regular basis - Upgrade the Jira instance when new versions are released - Install plugins and add-ons as needed to extend functionality - Configure email notifications for users - Create custom fields and screen schemes as needed - Manage project templates And workflows - Import And export data from Jira projects - Run reports on Jira usage and activity trends - Troubleshoot issues with specific projects/issues - Maintain documentation on processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps - Handle customer inquiries and support requests related to using JIRA (ref:hirist.tech)
