Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support a dynamic Interior Designer based in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and have a passion for interior design. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Manage the designer's schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements. Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence. Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of interior design projects. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Client Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for clients. Maintain professional and courteous communication, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a tidy workspace. Research and Sourcing: Conduct research on design trends, materials, and suppliers. Source and procure items needed for projects. Event Planning: Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as client meetings, presentations, and industry networking events. Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and design plans. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in business administration or a related field are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Personal Attributes: Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. Team Player: Collaborative and able to work well within a team environment.
