Supplier Development Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities Search for and identify new suppliers in defined markets or for specific scopes, such as high strategic relevance or cost-effective countries. Qualify new suppliers according to departmental requirements, including product quality management and engineering standards. Support the global sourcing department in contract negotiations and tender management by ensuring suppliers meet capability and process requirements. Develop and analyze key data, considering conditions such as customs regulations and regulatory requirements in specific supply markets. Conduct supplier evaluations and collaborate on supplier development activities with internal cross-functional teams. Maintain and develop the company's Supplier Development Tools. Define action plans with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring supplier compliance and performance. Qualifications & Skills Strong understanding of supply markets, sourcing strategies, and supplier management processes. Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier development roles. Familiarity with supplier performance metrics and cost analysis tools. Knowledge of quality systems and tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D) is a plus. Understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations. Proficiency in data analysis, supplier scorecards, and ERP systems. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
