Due to the high number of applicants they will be unable to respond Civil Site Superintendent Location: Various Lower Mainland Projects Salary Range: $121,499 - $166,499 Overview We're hiring a Civil Superintendent to oversee municipal infrastructure and utility construction projects across the Vancouver Lower Mainland. This is a full-time, field-based leadership role ideal for someone with deep civil experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and site performance. You'll work closely with project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. Must Haves Minimum 5 years of experience in civil utility construction, including deep sewer work At least 2 years in a Superintendent or equivalent leadership role on civil construction projects Valid BC Driver's License and clean driving record Nice to Haves Engineering or Construction Management degree or equivalent technical training Familiarity with MMCD specifications and local municipal infrastructure standards Experience mentoring Foremen and developing junior team members Responsibilities Overseeing daily operations across multiple job sites to ensure safety, productivity, and quality Driving the daily schedule and deliverables while maintaining a strong on-site presence Monitoring progress, addressing issues, and escalating risks or delays as needed Supporting and enforcing all safety protocols, toolbox talks, and incident reporting procedures Managing crews and subcontractors to meet project milestones and uphold worksite standards Reviewing and approving daily timesheets, site reports, and progress updates Planning day-to-day construction activity with Foremen and ensuring alignment with project goals Collaborating with Project Managers to report performance, track changes, and update look-ahead schedules Troubleshooting field issues and resolving disputes efficiently and respectfully Coordinating delivery and usage of materials, equipment, and tools Identifying opportunities to increase site efficiency without compromising safety or quality Leading by example in work ethic, professionalism, and team engagement Participating in site inspections, performance evaluations, and regular project meetings Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and employee development Please do not direct message the author of this job advert.
