SEN Teaching Assistant

We are assisting a special educational needs (SEN) school in Redruth with filling a fixed-term SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy. Closing Date: Sunday 20th April 2025 Interview Date: Week commencing 28th April 2025 Location: Redruth Hours: 31.25 hours per week (5 days), 39 weeks per year plus holiday entitlement (Total paid weeks: 45.4506) Salary: Full-time equivalent of £24,926 per annum (£18,350 pro-rata) Contract: Fixed-term (initially until 31st August 2025) Start Date: ASAP An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist educational setting on a fixed-term basis. About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will vary throughout the school day, depending on the individual needs of each pupil. You will work closely with class teachers, support staff, and multi-agency teams to ensure the best possible learning experience for students. Working Hours Redruth: 8:50 am 3:30 pm While we are primarily looking for candidates to work five days per week, we welcome applications from those seeking part-time positions.
