Job Description

Role: Administrator Location: City of London, EC3M Start Date: ASAP Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 (40hrs p/w) 1st Step Solutions are working on behalf of a leading UK Construction Contractor that have a requirement for an Administrator to join them. Duties: * Ensure that defined administrative functions of the department are carried out in a timely efficient manner. * Maintain record keeping systems for the department, some of which will be computerised. * Open and distribute all incoming mail. * Assist the Manager, Operations Manager with all typed and computer generated correspondence, written documents and procedures. * General day to day administrative duties * Updating of the system with information from sub-contractors. * Updating of the system with information from operational staff members. * To promote a culture of customer service to both internal and external customers and partners and to liaise with other departments regarding issues if required. * To undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties relevant to the post. Skills/Experience: * Good basic knowledge of computers and software. * Performing in a busy and demanding Office Environment. * Maintain accurate data records. * Attention to detail. * Does not mind doing large volumes of the same type of work - repetitive. * Previous administration experience and of using various systems
