Leading global technology services consultancy seeks Legal Director - Commercial Technology to join their highly skilled in-house legal team. About the Role This is a newly created position to join a supportive and dynamic team, in a strategic role to be the Government and Public Sector legal lead on complex commercial deals and manage a team of commercial lawyers. Requires engagement at Partner level in order to influence strategy and approach to contracting on both the client and supplier side, in addition to substantive legal advisory work and negotiations. Offering interesting and broad spread of project work (IT system implementation agreements and outsourcing/managed services agreements) and client contracts (engagement agreements, MSAs, framework agreements), including cross-border complex tech, digital transformation, licensing, cloud and managed services, outsourcing, government and public sector agreements, tenders, RFP responses and supplier agreements. Required Skills and Qualifications Over 10 years' PQE Proven experience as a commercial technology lawyer, with good knowledge of public sector agreements and public procurement regulations, from a top tier City law firm and/or in-house Management experience preferred Experience working in technology/T&T businesses, in-house Will suit a self-starter with gravitas, business acumen and who can improve processes across the business Calm and proactive attitude Ideal candidate will be versatile, efficient, credible, persuasive, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing circumstances in a challenging, fast-paced environment Hybrid working, excellent salary and benefits package on offer.
