Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Job Specialty: Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a Level I or II hospital License: Compact or LA license required Certifications: CRCST or CSPDT required Must-Have: - A trackable work history without cancellations - Experience with sterilizers, Sterrad Machines, and Ultrasonic equipment (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed) Job Description: - Must have trackable work history with no cancellations. - Not open to first-time travelers. - Facility requires employees to be located over 65 miles away. - Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required; medical/religious exemptions are considered. - Ensure that the profile includes requested time off, as offers can be rescinded if not brought up during the interview. - Orientation will be conducted over 8 hours. - References from two Managers/Supervisors are needed to obtain clearance to start the contract. - Must comply with Tier 2 travel compliance. - Candidates with pending licenses must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing. - AHA certifications are required. - RNs must have recent NURSYS reports (within 4 weeks of submission date). - Orientation is conducted five days a week.
