Director, Finance & Strategy

The Finance & Corporate Development team at Airwallex drives the company's financial strategy and growth. Our team focuses on financial planning, analysis, and corporate transactions to ensure Airwallex's long-term success. We collaborate across departments to identify opportunities, manage risks, and execute strategic initiatives. Our goal is to support the company's mission to empower businesses to operate anywhere, anytime. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Director of FP&A will be pivotal in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across the organization. This leadership position requires a seasoned finance professional with a deep understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with executive leadership, providing key insights, recommendations, and actionable plans to ensure the company's financial health and sustainable growth Partner closely with division leaders to develop a long-range company projection model that will help evaluate Airwallex’s ability to hit agreed medium-term financial goals/benchmarks, and will also be used to set annual budgets Own ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required, and drive process improvements by partnering with cross-functional owners Build and manage a high performing, global FP&A team Successful candidates will have: 12 years of finance experience with 5 years of experience in a senior FP&A role Experience in a high-growth tech / fintech company or global company is a plus Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with senior leadership Experience working independently and navigating ambiguity to deliver outcomes J-18808-Ljbffr
