Data Privacy Legal Cousel - Insurance

A global, leading speciality insurer is looking to recruit a UK insurance and data privacy legal counsel into their legal department in London. The successful candidate will be advising on a broad range of legal and regulatory topics within insurance and financial services, as well as advising the Data Protection Officer. Skills and experience required: Qualified solicitor (England and Wales) with a strong background in insurance law and regulatory compliance. Post qualification legal experience ideally in a non-life insurance company, broker or a law firm insurance practice Proven track record of providing legal support in the insurance sector. Deep insurance contract and regulatory legal knowledge and knowledge of consumer lines insurance is desirable In-depth knowledge of UK and EU data protection laws, including GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act Hybrid working policy: 3 days per week in London office. Salary: £125,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits. Unfortunately, no sponsorship is being offered at this time.
