Before & After School Club Playworker - Level 2 Location: West Wirral Start Date: ASAP Hours: 7:45am - 8:45am and 3:15pm - 5:45pm (Monday to Friday) Pay: £16.30 per hour Contract: Long-Term, Part-Time Qualification Required: Level 2 Playwork or Teaching Assistant Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in West Wirral who are seeking a Level 2 qualified Playworker or Teaching Assistant to support their before and after school club provision. This is a part-time, long-term role , perfect for someone looking for regular hours across both the morning and afternoon sessions , starting as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and engage children during breakfast and after school club activities Create a safe, inclusive and fun environment for all pupils Support children with play, social interaction and light snacks Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times Requirements: Level 2 qualification in Playwork or Teaching Assistant Previous experience in a school or childcare setting Friendly, reliable and confident working with primary-aged children Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained You must have legal right to work in the UK You must be willing to attend a registration interview All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay.
