Warehouse & Production Manager

We are actively looking to engage warehousing, production and manufacturing distribution professionals with a passion for warehousing operations for a new role as a Warehouse & Production Manager in Nottinghamshire! Client Details Our client is a market-leading producer of high-end manufacturing machinery distributed across the worldwide. With around 61 production and distribution sites across the world (in Europe, USA and the Far-East). You will be joining a fast-paced environment in a brand new production and distribution logistics hub with circa 50 colleagues across warehousing, despatch and production. Job Description As a Warehouse & Production Manager you will report into the UK Operations Director on a daily basis and will be responsible for the following areas of responsibility within the Nottinghamshire site. Managing around 40-50x warehouse & production colleagues across a Monday to Friday operations. Responsible for a warehouse of over 120k sq.ft. with a mixed production and warehouse despatch operation and throughput of high-value manufactured goods. Responsible for the management of 1x Production Supervisor, 1x Despatch Manager, 1x Inventory Manager and a Production & Warehousing Team of between 30-50 members. Full budgetary P&L responsibility, alongside achieving target KPI's and ensuring on-time, in-full delivery. Motoring productivity and cost targets alongside customer service excellence. Review processes to identify improvements and lead change initiatives. Lead talent reviews and management for succession planning. The Ideal Candidate The successful Warehouse & Production Manager will have an expansive background in production and/or warehousing operations and will have the following skills & experience: 5 years' experience managing production or warehousing operations, ideally in a manufacturing environment Experience managing in excess of 30 colleagues in a production & logistics environment. Ideally NEBOSH / IOSH qualified Commutable to Nottinghamshire on a daily basis.
