We just got instructed by an elite US firm who is looking to hire a Junior Associate into their Litigation & Arbitration team. The practice is ranked ( Chambers and L500 ) for their high-end Commercial and Corporate Disputes exposure and currently headed by a renowned female partner within the shareholder disputes field. The team is mainly known for their high-profile advice to clients across asset management/private equity, technology, financial institutions, energy and funds sectors but handle a wide range of disputes, including: shareholder and JV disputes, contractual claims and unfair prejudice; HKIAC, ICC, LCIA, LMAA, UNCITRAL, SIAC, ICSID and LME arbitration; Pro Bono & Corporate Responsibility projects Civil fraud Offshore litigation Technology and IP litigation The firm boasts a standout advocacy presence, with team members who are qualified barristers or hold Higher Rights of Audience qualifications, enabling them to litigate high-profile cases. Additionally, the team distinguishes itself from other US firms by prioritizing pro bono and corporate responsibility work, having dedicated team members lead the pro bono practice , providing legal services to charities and NGOs.
