Sales Manager Location: Essex Office or Remote (UK-Based) Industry: Water & Wastewater | Technical Sales Are you a results-driven Sales Manager ready to take on your next challenge? We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our clients growing team and lead the charge in delivering outstanding solutions to the UK water and wastewater sector. As the new Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving business development, managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion, and building long-term partnerships with key clients. You’ll report directly to the Business Development Director and enjoy full support from our UK head office—including admin and technical teams to back you up every step of the way. Whether you’re based near our Essex office or prefer to work remotely, this flexible role is designed to suit you. Regular travel across the UK (and potentially overseas) will be part of your routine, so adaptability is key. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the sales cycle from first contact to successful handover. * Consistently hit targets while delivering outstanding customer service. * Collaborate with technical and design teams to build innovative client solutions. * Troubleshoot challenges and provide effective, fast responses. * Nurture and grow relationships with UK Water Companies and major contractors. * Stay ahead of industry trends and spot new opportunities for growth. * Expand your technical knowledge across departments for continuous improvement. What We're Looking For: * A proven Sales Manager with a successful track record in technical sales. * Sector experience in water or wastewater treatment is a major plus. * A confident communicator with strong organisational and analytical skills. * Self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative environment. * Tech-savvy, especially with Microsoft Office 365. * Full UK driving licence required.
