Job Title: Scaffolding Estimator Location: London / Essex (depending on your location) Salary: Competitive A well-established scaffolding contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Scaffolding Estimator to join the team. The role is flexible in location, operating between London and Essex depending on your base. The Role: As a dedicated Scaffolding Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate, detailed, and competitive tenders for scaffolding works across a range of projects. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in scaffolding estimating and a strong understanding of industry standards and pricing structures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for scaffolding projects Interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Conduct site visits to assess requirements and gather information Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth estimating and handover processes Prepare bills of quantities and cost plans Produce clear and concise bid proposals and tender submissions Track and manage tender returns and feedback Assist with project handovers to operational teams Maintain knowledge of market trends, pricing, and materials in the scaffolding industry Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in scaffolding estimating Must have worked for a scaffolding contractor Broad knowledge of the scaffolding industry, systems, and regulations Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software Full UK driving licence Package: Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Company vehicle Pension scheme Long-term opportunity with a reputable scaffolding business
