The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in a neurovascular unit. Night shift, working three consecutive 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 is required. Weekend work is required every other week. Orientation will consist of 40 hours of training. Candidates may need to float to other units as required. Working 3 of the 5 major holidays is mandatory. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities. Must have experience with Epic charting. References from supervisors covering a year of experience within the last three years are required. The hospital is a teaching facility with 536 beds and provides acute care. Inflexibility with the contracted schedule may result in termination of the contract.
