Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Technical / Deskside Support specialist to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ. In this long-term contract role, you will provide hands-on support for computer hardware, software, and network systems while ensuring high-quality service delivery. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong technical skill set and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Computer installations and relocations Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair computer hardware, software, and networking systems, including PCs, laptops, and servers. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for legacy systems, networking devices, and peripherals. • Perform installations, moves, additions, and changes (IMACs) as required to meet client needs. • Provide operational and maintenance support for network products and ensure systems are functioning optimally. • Test and certify PCs, networks, servers, and approved software applications to ensure proper functionality. • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing issues promptly and advising on preventative maintenance strategies. • Maintain expertise in operating systems such as Microsoft, Linux, and Unix, as well as antivirus and networking software. • Follow up on unresolved issues, escalate when necessary, and take ownership of service delivery tasks. • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of company service solutions and client-specific procedures. • Lead or assist with smaller project management tasks, ensuring timely and quality execution. • 5-8 years of experience in deskside support, technical troubleshooting, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of PC operating systems, including Microsoft, Linux, and Unix, as well as networking and antivirus software. • Hands-on experience with servers, storage systems, and associated peripherals. • Certifications from major manufacturers such as Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, or HP are highly preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and desktop and handheld software. • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset. • Ability to work independently, manage stress, and maintain attention to detail. • Familiarity with testing and certifying PC networks, servers, and software applications.
