The Lead Functional Architect role is the ultimate Business Process Design Authority. The role is a continuous improvement process leader responsible for driving the development and implementation of best practice business processes across various business areas and regions. Responsibilities Oversee and lead decisions to design and change the architecture across application layers for the SAP 4HANA ERP program - factory layer, MES layer, ERP layer. Ensure that requests for changes (RFCs) from the Change Control Board are catalogued, prioritized, resourced, monitored, managed, and closed within agreed timeframes and quality standards, in collaboration with the ERP Program Delivery and ERP Service Operations Managers. Maintain quality and integrity of processes within functional areas. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver process improvements that enhance scalability, reusability, reduce defects, and achieve world-class quality. Evaluate end-to-end process capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyze current processes, gather best practices, and incorporate lessons learned. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and facilitate alignment among business resources and IT across regions. Requirements College or University degree in IT or Business, or equivalent. 10 years managing ERP project design stages. Expertise in SAP product suite. Extensive SAP configuration experience, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls. Experience documenting current business processes and wireframing system designs. Deep understanding of system architecture, gap analysis, and delivering comprehensive solutions. Experience integrating SAP with other business systems and using integration tools. Full lifecycle ERP experience in manufacturing environments, understanding manufacturing, supply chain, shop floor, commercial, and finance processes. Experience managing remote teams across multiple countries. Knowledge of change management techniques. Fluency in English (written and spoken). A story shaped by you.
