About The Job Are you seeking a new challenge in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a Buyer to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO). You will report to the Commodity Manager within the Procurement Area and will be responsible for managing a specific material group within one of the commodities: Exteriors, Interiors, Electrical/Electronic, Powertrain. As part of the Procurement Department, you will play a key role in achieving company objectives, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge technical solutions with high quality, on time, and at the right cost. You will organize supply chains and collaborate with suppliers within Lamborghini and the Audi-VW Group, working on current and new vehicle projects in a team-oriented environment. We welcome proactive individuals who are committed to turning ideas into actionable projects to meet customer needs. Your Responsibilities Will Focus On Leading price negotiations and mediating award decisions through a global Bidder’s List Identifying and leading cost-saving initiatives, including supplier visits Scouting for new suppliers and innovations, with a focus on economics and sustainability Analyzing market trends and developing acquisition strategies Participating in VW Group Commodity Meetings to align purchasing strategies across brands Engaging early in projects to define optimal technology solutions Utilizing the latest e-procurement tools Collaborating within cross-functional teams About You University degree in Engineering 4-5 years of procurement experience Experience in the automotive sector is a plus Fluent in English and Italian; German skills are advantageous Strong negotiation skills Ability to manage complex supply chains Target-oriented and team player Analytical skills What We Offer Flexible working arrangements Holistic Well-Being program Parenthood support programs Opportunities for internal employees Access to specialized learning paths Development programs If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your application by May 7th.
