JUNIOR IT SPECIALIST (DATABASE - AI)

Job Opportunity: Junior IT Specialist with Focus on Database Management and AI QiBit, the ICT division of Gi Group S.p.A., an employment agency authorized by the Ministry of Labour (Aut. We are seeking an Junior IT Specialist with a focus on Database Management and Artificial Intelligence for an important manufacturing company part of a multinational group worldwide leader in equipment and solutions for domestic, professional, and industrial cleaning. The candidate will join the Information Technology Department, reporting to the IT Manager, working in a productive environment with a high propensity for industrial automation and digitalization of processes. The role will focus on Database Management Systems and Business Intelligence activities. The candidate will actively participate in the digital evolution of business processes in collaboration with other departments and will be involved in corporate projects promoted by the headquarters and the international IT team, aimed at introducing and implementing Artificial Intelligence to foster a modern, flexible, and collaborative working environment. Main Activities and Responsibilities: Developing analyses in Business Intelligence: BI Data modeling related to the evolution of business processes and data, and involvement in Artificial Intelligence projects. Managing corporate databases with a focus on maintaining performance levels, ensuring backups, and business continuity. Providing ongoing support and interaction with various departments to ensure assistance and propose solutions and continuous improvement projects. First-level help desk activities, acting as a liaison with the international IT team. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or a diploma in IT with specialization in data science / database management. Skills in BI data modeling. Knowledge of DBMS (e.g., MS SQL Server) and experience in designing, monitoring, and optimizing databases. Good knowledge of English. Brief experience in multinational environments and/or structured IT teams is preferred. Additional qualities include teamwork, knowledge sharing, problem-solving, proactivity, and the ability to manage professional relationships internally and externally. Work Location: Quistello (Mantova). Possibility of working in smart working up to 6 days a month. Working Hours: Full-time.
