The Opportunity : - Join our highly flexible development team for the Hardware Security Module (HSM) ADYTON, with members located in Brussels, Aachen, and beyond. - Strong communication skills are essential for this role. - As a Lead Software Developer for the Worldline ADYTON HSM, you will be responsible for implementing the system software of the ADYTON HSM. - This position requires expertise in embedded programming and a strong background in C, as you will support the development team by implementing functionality within an Agile development environment, focusing on payment standards and protocols. - Additionally, you will provide technical leadership to guide the team in best practices and innovative solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities : You will be involved in developing security products for embedded systems used in financial transactions, including the development and testing of security-related applications on the ADYTON HSM. Key responsibilities include : - Embedded Programming : Implement secure and efficient embedded software solutions in C tailored for the ADYTON HSM. - Hands-On Development : Actively participate in coding and implementing functionality in C, ensuring high-quality software delivery. - Agile Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with the Product Owner and Product Manager to translate requirements and features into technical specifications. - Technical Leadership : Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. - Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of interface designs and security measures specific to the ADYTON HSM. - Quality Assurance : Ensure that software solutions adhere to industry standards for security and performance. - Problem Solving : Identify and resolve technical challenges related to ADYTON HSM integration. - A good knowledge of Python and C is necessary, as the team operates in an Agile environment that demands independence, autonomy, and a proactive approach to task structuring and problem-solving. - The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in C programming and embedded systems development, along with a strong understanding of OpenSSL and TLS communication protocols. - Experience with secure coding practices and security standards is essential, as is familiarity with the communication protocols used in the ADYTON HSM. - Additionally, knowledge of payment standards and protocols is important. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. These qualities are essential!. Were also looking for the following skills and experience : - Specialist in computer science. - Excellent team player. - Proven leadership skills. - Outstanding communication skills, and a good command of spoken and written English. - Awareness of a range of development support tools. - Quick adaptation to new technologies.
