Job Description
Planning/Purchasing Dept. Bologna Italy About the Role Key Activities Request for quotes for new projects and productions (internal and external) Daily collaboration with subcontractors for timely planning of external production Sending purchase orders to suppliers Constant monitoring of the progress of internal and external production and material deliveries in order to meet customer order deadlines Preventive and targeted management of critical issues due to missing components, long lead times, material allocation, obsolescence, scrapping, etc. Timely notification of critical issues to the departments involved (production, sales, logistics) Coordination of scheduling of shipments and pickups in collaboration with warehouse and logistics department Responsibilities Organizational skills Ability to manage time, identifying daily priorities that most impact the day's work activities Strong logical-analytical and problem-solving skills Propensity for teamwork Team support aimed at constant process improvement Ability to span across cross-functional activities Clear and effective communication skills within the team, with other departments, and with suppliers Curiosity, proactive and proactive attitude, out-of-the-box thinking Excellent knowledge of Excel B2 level of English
