Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Stevenage Secure Critical Site – Enhanced Security Clearance Required Salary: £45,000 Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-5, 40 hours per week A trusted leader in the Facilities Management (FM) sector is recruiting for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join its team supporting a secure, critical environment. This is a high-responsibility role ideal for someone who thrives in compliance-driven, high-integrity settings. The successful candidate will deliver both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault resolution across essential electrical systems, ensuring safety, uptime, and operational continuity. Working within a secure site, this role demands attention to detail, discretion, and a strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical maintenance across LV systems, emergency lighting, distribution boards, fire alarms, UPS, and control panels. Your core responsibilities will involve fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation of electrical and building systems. Provide callout response for the client as per the callout rota Respond to urgent faults and perform safe, efficient repairs to minimise disruption. Complete statutory compliance tasks and maintain accurate records. Adhere to strict H&S and security protocols, working closely with site security and facilities teams.
