Job Description
Volt is immediately hiring a Inventory Coordinator in SAN DIEGO, California As a Inventory Coordinator you will: Be involved in inventory control of human specimens (blood, urine, etc.) and may be asked to support other Clinical activities. Supporting Clinical shipping and receiving, this position will be asked to support Sample Bank (handling biospecimens, accessing ultra cold freezers, moving samples, discarding samples, etc.) Also responsible for administrative support in responding to emails, creating trackers (Excel), filling out forms, and filing and tracking work. The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. With warehouse or administrative assistant background Experience with shipping & receiving Good written and oral communication skills Some Labs or similar experience including a handling of blood, urine, and other body fluids Use of standard lab equipment such as pipettes, rockers, balances Use of proper PPE, biohazard waste Ability to lift and move heavy materials with (20 – 30 lbs) Schedule: 1st Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM Mon - Fri This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.
