Key Account Manager (>100 visiting days / year) WHO ARE WE? Our Company : We are a French, family-owned, SME founded in 1995 whose business is centered around stable isotopes and consumables used in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), positron emission tomography (PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and mass spectrometry (MS). These technologies cover a wide range of applications from medicine, health, petrochemistry, food and beverage, to materials science, and organic chemistry. Initially a trading company, we have massively invested in R&D in the past few years, and has developed technical innovations, which now allow the company to competitively manufacture at large scale (up to few tons per year) a portfolio of products of interest to both Academia and Industry researchers. We have around 20 employees at our site at Les Ulis (chemists, informatics, logistics, admin, sales and marketing, etc) and have small teams in our offices in New York and in Bangkok you will interact with as we scale up. The Context: Join the company at a pivotal moment with the launch of a new product line. The products and solutions you will promote are highly innovative. Work in a stimulating scientific environment with original applications. Collaborate with researchers and procurement people from large academic institutions and industries. Your Missions: On site visit: Minimum of 100 days per year visiting customers and prospects across Europe, including participation in scientific conferences. Account Management: Develop and maintain contact with strategic accounts. Upsells. Business Development: Find new customers and manage the whole sales cycle (from prospection to closing the deal). Market analysis: Be able to analyze the market in detail to find new opportunities and help the company board with relevant insights. Teamwork: Work closely with marketing, chemists, and supply chain to ensure outstanding customer service, and find solutions to possible on demand customer technical requests. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce. You report to the Manager of the NMR BU and the CEO WHO ARE YOU? YOUR PROFIL You have 5 years of experience in Field Sales, with proven results. Outstanding negotiation skills. English is mandatory. Proficiency in French and/or German is a plus. Interested in Science and its applications, both in academia and in industry Able to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers. High level of integrity and work ethic.
