Lead Senior Authorised Person (SAP) Suffolk – UK sites Salary is negotiable for the right candidate package If you’re looking to move away from being on the toos and transition into a more management-focused position, this is the opportunity for you! Fourblue are working with an electrical contractor who work with construction and maintenance of high voltage projects. In this Lead SAP role, you’ll manage a team of 3 SAPs, oversee private networks, and ensure the smooth running of operations and maintenance (O&M) activities. You’ll have the chance to manage electrical systems up to 132kV and take responsibility for ensuring compliance and safety standards are met across multiple projects. Responsibilities of the Lead SAP: Leading and managing a team of 3 Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs), ensuring the safe operation and performance of electrical systems Overseeing the maintenance and operational activities of private networks, with responsibility for compliance and quality assurance Acting as the senior technical point of contact for electrical systems, providing guidance to the team and clients Managing the preparation, review, and sign-off of safety documentation, risk assessments, and method statements Coordinating operations and maintenance activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Supporting the transition from field-based work to office-based responsibilities while maintaining a presence on-site as required Liaising with clients and stakeholders to address technical and operational challenges, ensuring service delivery excellence Criteria of the Lead SAP: Proven experience as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with 11kV, 33kV or 132kV experience Experience in private network maintenance and O&M activities Excellent understanding of electrical systems, risk assessments, and safety procedures Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required If you're ready to move from hands-on work to a leadership position and have the experience to drive a team towards success, this is the opportunity for you!
