Chief Technology Officer (CTO) This company specialising in the education sector is looking for a visionary CTO to help scale their platform and shape their next phase of growth. The Role As CTO, you’ll provide strategic leadership, scale their engineering function, and optimize platform performance. You’ll inherit a talented team of 3 engineers and be expected to mentor, guide, and architect for scale. This is a hands-off coding leadership role—but you'll still do code reviews , architecture planning, and guide technical decisions. Tech Stack MERN : MongoDB, Express (Java), React, Node.js Simple and scalable Focused on speed, stability, and continuous improvement About You Experience in fullstack engineering work Leadership experience Have scaled platforms in startups or early-stage companies MERN experience strongly preferred Naturally curious, sparky, and collaborative Strong communicator and mentor Passionate about education and product vision What You'll Be Doing Drive platform scalability and performance Lead and grow the engineering team Set tech vision in line with business goals Champion product quality and engineering culture Collaborate closely with the CEO, CPO, and wider team of designers, educators, and animators Interview Process : 15-min intro with CPO 45-min deep dive with CEO (scalability & vision) 90-day high-level strategy presentation Meet the team!
