Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below: Responsibilities: Produce new and update existing designs for applications using AutoCAD & SolidEdge. Create detailed component and assembly drawings Create and maintain accurate documentation including BOM's, Proposals, Manuals and Maintenance instructions for designs. Interpret customer specifications and design standards Carry out DFMEA as required Background Previous experience of designing transmission, gears, powertrain or similar would be advantageous Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance Candidates are required to be British citizens Marine or Defence industry experience advantageous
