Head of Finance - Housing & Communities Location: London Contract: Temporary (3 months initial) Rate: £750.00 per day umbrella // £659.61 per day PAYE inclusive // £588.57 per day PAYE exclusive Start Date: ASAP *Hybrid Working* Contact: .uk Job Description Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in London for Head of Finance (Homes & Communities) to join the team on a temporary basis. The Head of Finance will lead and manage the Homes & Communities Finance Teams within Financial Management, supporting, Homes & Communities, advising on relevant aspects of strategic finance and business partnering, alongside comprehensive financial direction, support and guidance to a range of Council’s services and Directorates. The postholder will provide financial leadership and strategic advice to directorates to enable them to develop robust financial plans and ensure that the future needs of the service are reflected in the Council’s medium term financial forecast. They will also support transformation and business led projects within Homes & Communities, ensuring that timely and robust financial information is provided to support with decision making and take an active role in shaping outcomes of projects. Candidate Criteria CCAB/CIMA Qualified, CIPFA preferred with extensive post qualification experience Extensive experience in Local Authority Finance, specifically Housing/Communities.
