Mechanical Engineer

Contract Mechanical Engineer Location: Glasgow 12 months Inside IR35 Mechanical Engineer to join a Naval Equipment Design Team within a Systems Engineering organisation in Glasgow. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the next generation of electrical drives and distribution equipment for Naval and Marine applications. The position is within IR35, and we are looking for a candidate to start in June for a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities: *Develop innovative mechanical designs for power electronics and electrical distribution equipment, meeting challenging performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability requirements. *Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using PTC Creo. *Applicants must be UK Nationals who either hold or are eligible for SC security clearance due to security restrictions associated with this role.
