Deputy Home Manager

Deputy Manager Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Children’s Home Deputy Manager in Wellingborough.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team and help manage our Children's Home, ensuring high standards of care and support for young people in our service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people. Main Responsibilities As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Children’s Home, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations. Promote the safeguarding and welfare of young people, providing a safe and nurturing environment. Liaise with external agencies and departments to ensure young people receive appropriate care plans and support in their rehabilitation. Provide leadership and supervision to staff, fostering a high-performing team and a culture of care, equality, and diversity. Assist with budget preparation and manage home budgets to ensure financial targets are met. Ensure the home remains compliant with all relevant legislative and contractual requirements. Participate in the on-call rota, offering support to the Children’s Home as needed. Requirements: Professional qualification in Social Work or QCF Level 3. At least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a residential care setting. Minimum 1 year of residential care experience. A valid Full Driving License.
