Our well-known Tier 2 contractor client is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead the front-end of delivery on major renewables and substation projects under the SPEN framework. This is a high-impact role offering real autonomy and the chance to make your mark across some of the UK’s most ambitious power infrastructure schemes. The Role: * Oversee all pre-construction activities, from early engagement through to contract award and mobilisation. * Lead bid strategy, planning, risk management, and design coordination. * Interface with SPEN and key stakeholders to drive innovative, commercially-sound solutions. * Support work-winning efforts and ensure seamless project handovers into delivery. What You Bring: * Proven experience as a Pre-Construction or Senior Project Manager on civils and substation projects (DNO/utility background essential). * Experience of working with Tier 1 clients/projects helpful. * Strong technical understanding of renewables infrastructure and associated civils. * Excellent leadership, commercial acumen, and stakeholder engagement skills. * A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
