Electrical Manager – Commercial & Life Sciences Projects Location: Oxford Salary: £65,000 Benefits Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established design & build M&E contractor, who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Manager for one of their high-profile schemes in Oxford. Operating within their Commercial & Life Sciences division, the company has a strong pipeline of projects and works in partnership with leading Tier 1 contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Bouygues, and Willmott Dixon. Known for delivering complex, high-spec schemes, they offer long-term career development and a supportive team environment. The Role As Electrical Manager, you will be based on site in Oxford and play a key role in managing the electrical package. You’ll report into the Electrical Project Manager and work closely with a Mechanical counterpart, ensuring coordination across all building services disciplines. Key Responsibilities * Oversee electrical installation works on-site from start to finish * Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality and H&S compliance * Liaise with the Electrical PM and design teams to resolve technical issues * Attend coordination and client meetings * Monitor progress against programme and report on milestones * Support commissioning and handover processes Requirements * Proven experience in a similar role, ideally on commercial or life sciences projects * Strong knowledge of electrical building services systems * SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant industry qualifications * Excellent coordination and communication skills * Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary project team What’s on Offer: * Salary of £65,000 per annum * Full benefits package * Opportunity to work on technically complex, high-value schemes * Career progression within a reputable and growing business If you are an Electrical Manager with the right experience and you're looking for your next permanent role, we’d love to hear from you.
