Senior Estimator

Hays is currently working with a leading GC in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge on their next key hire. Right now, they have an opening for a Senior Estimator to join their team right away. Senior Estimator Position Location: KWC Area This GC is a leading construction company with a robust portfolio of projects in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) sectors. They are committed to excellence and innovation in every project they undertake. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for ICI projects. Analyze project specifications and drawings. Collaborate with project managers and engineers. Evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals. Maintain accurate records of estimated and actual project costs. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in ICI estimating. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in estimating software such as BlueBeam, Planswift, Autocad, Microsoft.
