Senior Application Security Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Security Control Architect- GCP for a Contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally, the successful candidate will have strong hands-on development experience and security architecture experience in a modern GCP cloud environment, with hands-on deployment experience with Software Security Controls Architecting and Solutioning. The preferred candidate for large Canadian Banking/Financial Enterprise clients. Position: Security Control Architect-GCP Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Contract Must Have Skills 1. 10 years of relevant progressive experience in IT 2. 3 years' experience in Security Architecture/Integration/Implementation roles 3. 4 years of experience with Software Security Controls Architecting and Solutioning 4. 3 years of experience with GCP 5. 2 years of experience with Kubernetes Nice-To-Have Skills • Recent experience with and understanding of some of the following: CI/CD pipelines, networking, storage in GCP • Experience with deployment and managing IaaS, PaaS & SaaS solutions Best vs Average: Ideal candidate has strong security architecture experience in a modern GCP cloud environment, with hands-on deployment experience
