Job Description
Role: Project Manager Location: East, West, and Central Scotland Type: Permanent We are working with a highly reputable civil engineering contractor specialising in infrastructure and groundworks across Scotland. Due to continued success and a growing pipeline of work, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take a lead role overseeing multiple sites, ensuring successful project delivery and supporting the company’s continued growth. Key Responsibilities: HSEQ Management: Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards throughout the duration of the project. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support new business opportunities. Budget Oversight: Deliver projects within budget constraints, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising quality. Team Management: Effectively lead and manage on-site personnel to ensure high standards of performance and delivery. Commercial Oversight: Manage the commercial elements of each project to achieve agreed financial targets. Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate project records and generate progress reports as required. Contractual Compliance: Ensure full adherence to all contractual obligations and specifications. Essential Requirements: Education: Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Experience: Demonstrable experience managing civil engineering projects, with a strong background in the renewable energy sector. Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive technical knowledge of all aspects of civil site operations. Communication: Strong, proactive communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence.
