2:1 SEN Teaching Assistant | Primary School | Immediate Paid Interviews Start: ASAP Role: 2:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Hoxton, Hackney Contract: Full time Rate: £90-£115 per day We are looking for a superb 2:1 SEN Teaching Assistant looking to advance your experience in Education. If you are, we have a fantastic opportunity for you. As a 2:1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting a student with moderate ASD in a 2:1 setting. This fantastic opportunity will allow you to work in a partnership with other SEN professionals to aid the pupil to produce the maximum results. We welcome your interest in working in this flourishing school whilst collaborating with the Year 6 classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student. The ideal candidate SEN Teaching Assistant: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods. Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEMH students. A solid understanding of SEN and effective behaviour management strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
