Job Description
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Seattle, Washington . This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Responsibilities: Patient Rooming and Vital Sign Assessment: Efficiently room patients and accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate. Administering Immunizations: Prepare and administer vaccines according to medical guidelines, ensuring patient comfort and proper documentation. Conducting Electrocardiograms (EKGs): Perform EKG procedures with precision, ensuring accurate results and patient safety throughout the process. Managing Referrals: Coordinate patient referrals to specialists, ensuring timely communication and accurate transfer of necessary medical information. In-Basket Management: Oversee and manage electronic medical records, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring efficient workflow within the clinical team. Qualifications: MA-C or MA-R required EPIC experience required Over 1 year of experience required Urgent Care experience preferred. Additional Information: Location: Seattle, Washington Job Type: contract - 13 weeks *possible extension* Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 pm Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 29.00/hour. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
