Oracle GL Developer

Oracle GL Developer As an Oracle GL Developer, you will work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of Oracle ERP systems. This role also requires staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices to ensure optimal utilization of Oracles ERP solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, configure, and maintain Oracle GL modules (General Ledger) within Oracle Cloud ERP, ensuring seamless and efficient operations of accounting functions. - Design and implement PL/SQL procedures and scripts to support various business processes and requirements. - Implement BIP (Business Intelligence Publisher) and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) reports for data analysis and reporting needs. - Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle ERP (Cloud) and other internal or third-party systems using OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud). - Work with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to build and maintain integration flows between Oracle ERP and external systems, ensuring smooth data transfer and process automation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement scalable integration solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues across the Oracle ERP environment. - Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions within the Oracle ERP system. - Work closely with functional teams to ensure the solutions align with business processes and meet organizational objectives. - Proactively identify areas for improvement in the current system setup and provide recommendations for system optimizations. - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for technical issues within the Oracle ERP system, especially within the GL module. - Diagnose and resolve system performance issues, data discrepancies, and user-reported issues to ensure seamless operations. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for issues and ensure effective solutions to prevent recurrence. - Stay updated on the latest developments in Oracle Cloud ERP technologies and best practices to continuously enhance the capabilities of the ERP system. - Drive innovation and explore new technologies (such as AWS) to enhance the existing Oracle ERP setup. - Ensure the adoption of industry best practices in development, reporting, integration, and troubleshooting. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 9-12 years of experience in Oracle GL development, PL/SQL, and working with Oracle ERP systems. - Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. - Oracle GL (General Ledger) module experience within Oracle ERP, with a strong understanding of accounting processes. - Hands-on experience in BIP (Business Intelligence Publisher) and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) report development. - Proven experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) and building integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and third-party systems. - Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for custom application development and modification. - Knowledge of AWS technologies and their integration with Oracle ERP systems. - In-depth understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP and how business processes (such as financial management, procurement, and supply chain) integrate within Oracle ERP systems. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
