Our client is a leading architectural firm known for its innovative and sustainable design solutions. This firm operates across various sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, and transportation and has offices across the country. They are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team in the Edmonton Studio. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a firm recognized for its creative approach, use of cutting-edge technology and design methodologies. *this is a hybrid role Responsibilities: Lead and manage the technical aspects of architectural projects from concept through completion. Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Utilize Revit for design development, construction documentation, and project coordination. Conduct comprehensive quality control reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance with design intent, and adherence to industry standards. Implement and maintain quality control processes to monitor and verify the quality of work throughout all project phases. Identify and address potential quality issues early in the project lifecycle to prevent costly errors and rework. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff and team members. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Architecture or Technical program, with 15 years in architectural design and project management Must have prior experience in a variety of typologies including commercial, institutional & mixed-use projects. Full proficiency in Revit is required. You enjoy mentoring, have strong communication skills and are a collaborative team player The successful candidate will receive a base salary of $90K- $110K (dependent on experience) extended benefits, 3 weeks vacation and the week off over Christmas.
