Position: BigQuery Solution Architect Location: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, or Querétaro (hybrid model – 1 day per week onsite) Employment Type: 100% on payroll (nominal scheme) Benefits: Above the law Language Requirement: Advanced English (mandatory) About the Role We are looking for a BigQuery Solution Architect with strong data engineering expertise to join a high-impact team within one of the world’s leading tech companies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native data solutions with a strong focus on BigQuery . You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced data architectures that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence at scale. Key Responsibilities Design and implement robust data architectures leveraging BigQuery for large-scale data processing and analytics. Develop data pipelines using SQL and Python to enable efficient data transformation and ingestion. Partner with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Apply best practices in data governance, performance optimization, and cost management within cloud environments. Use Terraform or similar IaC tools for infrastructure provisioning and automation. Qualifications Proven experience working with BigQuery in production environments. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development. Experience in data engineering, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud architecture. Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
