Job Description: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist Location: Between the provinces of Parma and Mantova Contract: Permanent, full-time About the Company Our client is a long-established manufacturing company renowned for the high quality of its products. Role Overview The successful candidate will identify and assess company risks, develop preventive and protective measures, and ensure employees receive adequate safety training. They will serve as the point of contact for the employer and external authorities, aiming to create a safe and compliant working environment. Key Responsibilities Identify risk factors, evaluate risks, and implement safety and health measures in compliance with current regulations and organizational knowledge. Implement prevention and protection measures, including control systems. Develop safety procedures for various company activities. Manage information and training programs for workers. Participate in safety and hygiene consultations and periodic meetings. Handle compliance with regulatory requirements and attend inspections by authorities (fire brigade, local health agencies, environmental agencies, INAIL, etc.). Organize and update documentation related to authorizations, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. Candidate Profile Knowledge of fire safety, workplace safety, and hygiene regulations. Understanding of environmental legislation. Diploma or degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or Management. Ability to read technical drawings and layouts. Certification obtained through legal courses.
