Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW: Oversee each station inbound/outbound air/ocean/road day to day operations. Troubleshooting for operation issues. Set up and implement operation process. Set up KPI to control operation service quality. Liason with overseas station provide service with Mexico and USA Coordinate with MD, provide necessary BI report. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manager to oversee day to day operations. Train new personnel in logistics and operations software. (Cargowise) Coordinate logistics shipment import/export, air/ocean, warehouse and trucking. Provide customer service and problem/conflict resolution. Manage client on-boarding and maintenance specific to Freight, including Audit, Freight Pay, and TMS, as well as implementation of new services for existing clients (less-than-truckload, international, freight forwarding, warehousing, and/or truckload) Manage client off-boarding specific to Freight (less-than-truckload, international, freight forwarding, warehousing, and/or truckload) Manage overseas audit process, ensuring accurate auditing of our clients Freight invoices according to company and client specific SOPs Manage direct reports with responsibilities for Freight Audit and Managed Services Perform data analysis for clients in relation to Freight shipments Manage Freight RFPs for clients including bid preparation, rate comparison and analysis, as well as implementation of new carriers Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas to enhance our processes and technology offering related to Freight Audit, Freight Pay, and TMS Manage Special Projects as assigned QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize numerous responsibilities Able to anticipate needs and provide solutions Able to show and demonstrate initiative, professionalism, poise, and flexibility on a consistent basis Able to work within an environment of frequent interruptions, conflicting priorities, and varying workloads Able to observe strict confidentiality in all aspects of services provided Able to interface effectively with a wide variety of internal and external clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills Able to operate independently with minimal supervision Able to accomplish tasks in a detail oriented and thorough manner Able to stay organized and maintain detailed and updated records, as well as prepare required documentation to report to your supervisor Able to demonstrate effective time management skills Able to adapt and learn quickly Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience Knowledge of logistics trade terms Familiarity with import/export procedures and regulations Excellent verbal and written communication Demonstrate proactive at problem-solving Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to multitask Windows Office literate (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
